A father and his six-year-old daughter have been left in hospital with traumatic head injuries after they were hit by a car while riding on an electric scooter.
Shocking CCTV footage captured the moment the haphazard father, 38, swerves round a bend on a highway before trying to join traffic seemingly without slowing down.
The pair were rushed to hospital after the crash in Krasnodar, Russia, yesterday. The father had a fractured skull base, chest and abdomen injuries and his daughter has a traumatic brain injury, concussion and abdomen injuries.

In the footage the father is seen standing at the back of his scooter while his daughter balances in front of him.
They come speeding into view and continue to veer round a bend on the highway before joining a fairly busy highway.
As they approach the merging section the father reaches his right hand up as if to alert oncoming drivers that he is about to join the road.
The black car smacks directly into the scooter and sends the father and his daughter flying across the road after they crash into the car’s windshield
A silver car in the first lane slows down to allow him to pass in front but a black car in the second lane seems unaware of the scooter and carries on driving.
The father doesn’t appear to slow down as he carries on in his brazen attempt to join the road.
The black car smacks directly into the scooter and sends the father and his daughter flying across the road after they crash into the car’s windshield.
The car’s driver immediately stops the vehicle and jumps out to help the injured pair.
