THIS is the shocking moment a woman was shoved to the ground by DC cops at a Black Lives Matter protest near the White House.

Footage from Washington DC on Wednesday night showed a white female being shoved to the ground by irate police outside St John's Episcopal Church.

She can be seen in the clip being blocked by a line of officers as she tried to move towards them in the direction of the church.

The shocking video apparently shows one masked cop push her forcibly, causing the woman to fall to the ground.

During the clip, enraged witnesses can be heard shrieking on the tape, causing the officers to back away as one man shouts at them.

Another man helped the toppled woman to her feet and she didn't appear to be badly injured after law enforcement began their retreat.

It's not apparent from the video what led to the incident or where the woman was attempting to go when she walked towards the wall of cops.

The violent clash happened by St John's Church and the White House and the Washington Monument can be seen in the background.

The surrounding area of Lafayette Square has been the scene of many violent clashes and protests since George Floyd's police custody death on May 25.

The escalating tensions in DC prompted officials to install a large fence around the Square to keep enraged Black Lives Matter protesters away from Donald Trump's residence.

On June 1, they were cleared away from the vicinity with tear gas as Trump walked to to St John's Church for a photo op.

Three days, Buffalo riot cops were filmed knocking 75-year-old Martin Gugino to the ground and walking past him as he lay bleeding.

The cops involved in the disturbing incidents were arrested and charged after Gugino was hospitalized.

But Trump later tweeted an unfounded accusation that the elderly man was an Antifa "provocateur."

Gugino's lawyer has since revealed that he's gotten death while recovering from his injuries at an "undisclosed location."

Relations between police and protesters have not improved throughout June after demonstrators attempted to topple Andrew Jackson's monument.

Trump touted the multiple arrests made after they failed to bring down Jackson during his Arizona rally on Tuesday, saying it was the work of "the left-wing mob."

He has also lambasted the Chairman of the Greater New York BLM movement, Hawk Newsome, for condoning and inciting violence.

"If this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it. All right?" Newsome told Martha MacCallum on Wednesday.

But the President was incensed by Newsome's statements, tweeting "this is Treason, Sedition, Insurrection!" on Thursday afternoon.

Though many demonstrations are peaceful, some have resulted in looting, rioting, and even bloodshed amid the "snowballing" coronavirus crisis.
