Desperate search for parents of young girl found walking alone clutching her Nintendo in Merseyside park

- She is about ten years old, has brown hair and was wearing a blue top and shorts
Police are desperately searching for the parents of a young girl who was found alone clutching her Nintendo in a park in Merseyside.
The young girl, believed to be around ten years old, was found by a member of the public in the playground at Gaskell Park, St Helens, at around 8.40am on Saturday.
She was taken to hospital to be checked over and ‘appears to be in good health’, Merseyside police confirmed.
Police are desperately trying to track down her family and confirm her identity and have begun door-to-door enquiries in the area.

The youngster has been described as white, around ten years old, with brown hair and wearing a blue top and black shorts.
She was also carrying a Nintendo Switch under the account of ‘Fragger’ when she was found on Saturday morning.
Sergeant Paul Allen said: ‘Although the girl appears to be in good health, we’re obviously desperate to find her family, so if you recognise her from the description or have any information, call 999 immediately with reference 323 and we will do the rest.’
