Inside Rebecca Loos’ VERY different life as mother-of-two yoga teacher married to doctor husband in Norway nearly 20 years on from David Beckham scandal that made her a household name
- There were claims of affair with Beckham but she now lives in Norway wilderness
Rebecca Loos is living in the wilderness away from the limelight, shunning fame after she became a household name following extraordinary David Beckham claims.
The Dutch glamour model and reality TV star hit the headlines in 2004 after she allegedly had an affair with the football megastar while working as his family’s PA.
In a sensational new Netflix documentary – released on the streaming giant today – the Beckhams have finally opened up about the scandal that almost broke their marriage almost 20 years ago.
Victoria said the months afterwards were the ‘hardest’ of her life and that she no longer felt like the couple ‘had each other’ – while David admitted he still doesn’t know how they got through the 2003 crisis, but he and his former Spice Girl wife knew they had to ‘fight for their family’.
The England star admitted they felt like they were ‘drowning’ as their high-profile marriage dominated headlines – and said he ‘felt physically sick every day’.
But this is a distant memory for Ms Loos, 45, who left the hustle and bustle of city life after meeting her Norwegian doctor husband on the reality show 71 Degrees North.
She now lives in Norway and spends her time practising yoga, running, biking and hiking and foraging for food with her sons.
Throughout her career Ms Loos appeared on several UK TV shows including Celebrity Love Island, Extreme Celebrity Detox, Temptation Island and The X Factor: Battle of the Stars.

She previously spoke to MailOnline about her new and ‘very different’ life as a Nordic domestic goddess and looking after her ‘little Vikings’.
She was also featured on the cover of lads mags including Playboy, FHM, Nuts and Zoo.
In 2004, it was reported that she had an affair with David Beckham, and she allegedly made £1million from the drama, according to The Mirror.
Speaking to Sky News at the time, Rebecca claimed she had bedded David at least four times. She alleged the affair began on September 18 during a group dinner out.
She recalled having ‘few drinks’ and ‘relaxing’, saying: ‘There had been some flirting and I was getting a few innuendos but I kept saying: “No he doesn’t fancy you”.’
Ms Loos said she would always remind herself not to put her job in jeopardy, knowing there was ‘huge risk involved if I got involved with this man’.
‘That night we just really hit it off,’ she added. ‘It was the first time, we were just locked into each other all night conversation wise. We just connected. People noticed it.’
Her new life is a far cry from her previous life as a glamour model and reality TV star, appearing on lad mags

Since leaving the UK and swapping parties for a calmer lifestyle, Rebecca has welcomed two sons Magnus, 11, and Liam, nine (pictured together with her husband Sven)

The glamour model lost her job but sold her story to the News Of The World and used her notoriety for financial gain.
When addressing Victoria’s attitude towards her, Ms Loos said she was not ‘expecting any words of sympathy’ from the former Spice Girl.
She admitted it was ‘bad enough for me to do what I have done’ and hoped the Beckhams would ‘get through it’ and ‘stay together’.
‘I in no way intended to break up their marriage especially when there are young children involved,’ she added.
But now, nearly 20 years on, Ms Loos keeps a vastly different lifestyle with her husband Sven Christjar Skaiaa, 46, than she did in her 20s.
She met Sven while he was working behind the scenes as a medic on 71 Degrees North in 2008. The pair married in a small ceremony in 2012 before moving to Hemsedal in the mountains to start a new life.
The couple now have two sons Magnus, 13 and Liam, 10.

Ms Loos claimed that people thought she was ‘mad’ for diving head first into a relationship with a man she ‘hardly knew’.
‘But look at everything I have now, I am so happy. I have no regrets, I am so happy with my life now. But many people are so afraid of change,’ she said.
‘Change is good, change is how you learn, people should just f**king go for it.’
The couple’s tiny hamlet is so remote that it is a three-hour drive from the nearest airport and a two-hour drive to the nearest hospital.
Between hikes and an extended bike ride, Rebecca told MailOnline how she has embraced domestic bliss: ‘I love my home, keeping it clean, cooking for my boys, packing the lunchboxes – that is my territory.
‘If my husband dares to interfere I’m like, “hands off!” The lawn, snow-ploughing and barn is all his.’

The former reality star also worked as a Covid tester in Norway and revealed she even considered doing a nursing degree after enjoying work on the pandemic frontline
‘I was never going to be one of those women who put their career on hold, who put their hand out to their husband, to ask permission. I used to think that was the worst.
‘All that has changed. I feel like I’ve grown up. Now we are a team.’
Speaking with OK!, the former glamour model reflected on her past wild lifestyle admitting that she has ‘tons’ of regrets but doesn’t hide any of her past from her family, saying her boys ‘know mummy has a naughty side’.
She also revealed she even considered doing a nursing degree after enjoying work on the Covid frontline.
When asked if she has any regrets about her time in the spotlight, Rebecca said: ‘Oh, tons! I made a lot of bad decisions, I trusted a lot of people I shouldn’t have.’
The former reality star explained that she felt ‘used for ratings and notoriety’ during some of her show appearances, noting her infamous scene on The Farm where she collected semen from a pig.
The 10-minute clip was watched by 1.6million people and was one of the most controversial scenes in Channel 5 history – receiving 37 Ofcom complaints.

Despite the regrets, Rebecca said she doesn’t hide anything from her family and makes sure to talk about her life before motherhood with her sons.
‘I’m very open about everything. They know Mummy’s been a naked model and been on the cover of Playboy…. They know their mummy has a naughty side!,’ she said.
Ms Loos, admitting there was a time when she would ‘leave the house at 9pm and come home at 6am’, said she now goes to bed by 9pm and typically starts her day at 6am.
She added: ‘We’re forever evolving and that was a nice phase in my late twenties.’
