The Spanish king and queen have visited the city of Murcia following devastating flooding in the region.
Six people are known to have died after the largest river in the area burst its banks following the torrential rainfall in September.
Over 169 litres of rain per square meter of land is thought to have fallen over eastern Spain, straining emergency rescue services as they rushed to help citizens.
Around 3,500 people are thought to have been evacuated in the wake of the rising floodwaters which fell through the middle of September.
The king and queen have visited the area and met with members of the emergency services who risked their own safety throughout their rescue attempts.
They have also met with townspeople from around the affected areas, raising morale among those who were affected by the floods.
