The Mirror reports two people visiting the Mold house were asked to leave yesterday.
Police confirmed they attended the Delyn MP's home over a "possible breach of Covid-19 regulations".
It is thought Mr Roberts' wife Alexandra turned 40 years old on Monday.
Superintendent Mark Pierce of North Wales Police said: “In response to two reports of a possible breach of Covid-19 regulations we visited an address at Ty’n y Coed, Mold, yesterday.
"When we called at the property two people visiting the house left following advice and no further action was taken.”
The lockdown rules in Wales are the same still as in England, where households are still not allowed to host non members in their homes.
A spokesperson for Mr Roberts said: "Rob Roberts was not present at the time.
"His family have been reminded of the guidelines set out by the government."
'POSSIBLE BREACH'
Mr Roberts, who said on Twitter he had separated from his wife weeks ago, spent the bank holiday in London.
He reportedly came back to the family home yesterday afternoon.
The MP came out in defence of Government aide Dominic Cummings, who was accused of breaking lockdown rules to stay with his family in Durham while ill with coronavirus.
Mr Roberts had demanded a full investigation into Mr Cummings' actions, before posting on Facebook yesterday after watching his press conference.
He wrote: "Having watched the statement from Mr Cummings, I believe that he seemed to be entirely acting in the best interests of his child as a responsible husband and father.
"It is now time for us all to move on from this issue."
It comes as the official UK coronavirus death toll has today risen by 134 in 24 hours as fatalities pass 37,000.
It is one of the smallest increases yet as the UK edges closer to getting out of lockdown after the pandemic hit – however new statistics today revealed the true toll could be much higher.
The Office for National Statistics today revealed 47,000 people could have been killed by the deadly bug already.
Britain has been in lockdown for over two months with most shops closed and people living in isolation since March 23.
But the extreme measures have slowly started to ease with barbecues and garden parties for ten person 'bubbles' expected to be allowed from the end of June.
Boris Johnson hailed the move as a step on the road to "rebuilding our country" and urged Brits to "spend" to help the economy to "bounce back".
The new relaxation measures will pave the way for millions of people to head back to work.
