Kyle Broadhurst, from Edinburgh, Scotland, was caught on camera messing around on his last day of work at Haven Seton Sands Holiday Village in Port Seton, East Lothian.

The 22-year-old appeared in a black face mask and apron as he tentatively hopped onto the aluminium padded bag before crashing into the pillar.

Footage sees Kyle jump onto the bag which bursts beneath him causing water to spray over the carpark.

And as the bag pops under his feet, Kyle slips and smashes into the concrete structure, sending his head jolting backwards.

Despite the impact, Kyle looks up at the camera with a pained look before bursting into laughter and putting his hand out to stop filming.

Surprisingly, Kyle walked away from the incident almost completely unscathed, getting away with just a small bruise on his knee and a sore finger.

Kyle said: ‘It actually wasn’t that sore, I got up and was totally chill, but then after I really needed an ice pack and it was funny because I was still on shift at the time.

‘I just took a face to concrete was absolutely fine, although I had pain in my knee, finger and chin but other than that I was fine. The only mark was a small bruise on my knee.’

He added: ‘I just really wanted to jump on the bag, there was no long thought process behind it.’

The footage was filmed by Kyle’s former colleague Ffion Wynne who had worked with him for a year.

Ffion told MailOnline how Kyle came up with the idea to jump on the bag which usually contains slush mix but was instead filled with water to clean the pipes of the machine.

The waitress, 22, from Pwllheli, shared the hilarious footage on Facebook on November 1, captioned: ‘Kyle Broadhurst’s last day in work a one to remember!’

Speaking to MailOnline, Ffion said: ‘The bag usually has slush mix in it but we filled it with water to clean the lines. I was shocked and worried but couldn’t help myself from laughing.’
