A man was shot and killed outside a Hell’s Kitchen bodega early Thursday morning, police said.
The victim, a 31-year-old man, had been involved in a dispute with another person outside a bodega on West 51st and 11th Avenue at around 1:27 a.m. when he was shot, cops said. The shooter fled the scene, cops said.
Meanwhile, the victim attempted to leave in a black SUV, when he lost control of the car and crashed it into a car dealership a block away on West 50th and 11th Avenue.
EMS found him unconscious with a gunshot wound to the chest and rushed him to Mount Sinai West Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are investigating. The identity of the victim has not been released pending family notification.
