A MAN and woman have been found shot in a house today after armed cops swarmed an Essex village.

Police scrambled to the rural home after the pair were shot inside.

Medics and cops arrived at the property in Little Baddow, near Chelmsford, at about 8.40am.

Essex Police confirmed they were called following concerns a woman had been injured.

They found two people suffering from gunshot wounds and rushed them to hospital.

Their ages and conditions are unknown. Police are not looking for anyone else involved in the case.

The incident happened near the Little Baddow Fruit Farm caravan park.

It is thought no caravans are currently allowed onto the park as cops continue the investigation.
