REVEALED: Latest Jeffrey Epstein rape accuser has hired law firm that previously defended Alan Dershowitz in his legal battle against Virginia Roberts

  • A Turkish-born woman, identified only as Jane Doe, became the latest victim to accuse Jeffrey Epstein of rape and sex trafficking in a new lawsuit last week
  • The woman claims she was repeatedly assaulted by the pedophile and Ghislaine Maxwell in early 2008
  • Doe was 26 and working as a real estate agent in Florida at the time the attacks
  • New report reveals Doe is being represented by Miami-based firm Coffey Burlington, which also represents Alan Dershowitz
  • Dershowitz retained lawyer Kendall Coffey in his legal battle against Epstein victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre

The Miami-based law firm representing the latest accuser of late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein had previously defended lawyer Alan Dershowitz in his legal battle against victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre, according to a new report.

In a new lawsuit filed last week under pseudonym Jane Doe, a Turkish-born woman accused Epstein of repeatedly raping her with the help of his alleged madam Ghislaine Maxwell, in front of her eight-year-old son.

The woman, the suit states, was 26 years old and had been working as a real estate agent in Florida at the time the attacks began in January 2008.

The abuse continued for at least five months, culminating in Epstein forcing the woman to undergo vaginal surgery to make her appear as a virgin, according to court documents.

She claimed the surgery was carried out ‘in a wealthy person’s home by a man with a Russian accent’ and left her mutilated and permanently damaged.

Attorney Kendall Coffey, a partner of the Miami-based firm Coffey Burlington that is representing Jane Doe, has been described as Dershowitz’s ‘close friend’

Doe also alleged that Epstein had once threatened to feed her to alligators at a Florida waterway if she ever reported his crimes.

The allegations are the latest in the slew of disturbing claims made by several women who claimed to have been victims of Epstein’s underage sex trafficking ring, including ‘sex slave’ Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

According to the Daily Beast, Doe is being represented by the same law firm that represented lawyer Alan Dershowitz, who Giuffre accused of taking part in the abuse and having sex with her when she was under age.

Giuffre, now 36, later sued him for defamation after he repeatedly called her a liar.

Dershowitz, who was also part of President Donald Trump’s impeachment defense team, has vehemently denied the allegations.

He retained attorney Kendall Coffey, a partner of the Miami-based firm Coffey Burlington that is representing Doe, to represent him in the case.

The outlet reports that Coffey, a former US attorney, appears to have close ties to Dershowitz beyond being his lawyer, as he was referred to as a ‘close friend’ to the attorney in a LA Times article last year.

But the law firm has denied there is any conflict of interest in Doe’s case despite their connections to Dershowitz.

‘It would be wholly inappropriate and unfair to both our current client and Professor Dershowitz to suggest that there is any connection between the two of them,’ attorney Andrew Marks, who representing Doe, told The Daily Beast Tuesday.

The Harvard lawyer and TV law expert exclusively told DailyMail.com he welcomes the chance to prove that the claims made by Roberts, who now goes by Virginia Giuffre, were false

Co-founder and partner Robert Burlington also argued the two cases were independent of each other saying: ‘We represented a victim (Dershowitz) of defamation by an accuser and we now represent a victim of sexual battery against Epstein and Maxwell.’

Dershowitz himself even vouched for his legal team, telling the outlet Coffey ‘is a very ethical lawyer.’

A hearing for Doe’s case is scheduled in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday.

The lawsuit comes as additional charges were filed against Maxwell last Monday, alleging that she trafficked a 14-year-old girl for sex.

Epstein died by suicide in August 2019, aged 66, while awaiting trial in jail. His estate is facing numerous civil suits.

Maxwell, 59, his former girlfriend and alleged accomplice, was arrested in July in New Hampshire and is currently in jail in Brooklyn, awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
