A source told The Daily Star Sunday: ‘The welcome talk is normally when you hear about what trips they will be offering, what is going on in the local area and what facilities the hotel offers.
‘But now it will include what to do if your hotel is attacked by masked people with guns.
‘Holidaymakers will be told to escape to their rooms if they can get there safely and quickly in the event of an attack and to barricade themselves in.’
Reps will also give out a list of nearby shelters to run to if an attack occurs on a beach.
