A Queens man who mowed down a highway cop in Florida with his BMW and then fled was busted in the Big Apple borough nearly a month after the dramatic, caught-on-camera incident, police said.

Donnell Reddy, 25, of Jamaica was nabbed on Friday in Queens in connection with the May 25 police hit-and-run in which he faces a slew of charges including attempted murder, aggravated fleeing and eluding and leaving the scene of a crash, authorities said Tuesday.

Police say that last month, Reddy — who was driving a white BMW — was stopped by a Florida Highway Patrol cop who was conducting seat belt enforcement on Florida’s Turnpike in Broward County.

As another FHP officer, Trooper Arsenio Caballero, was walking across the exit ramp to the west shoulder of the roadway, Reddy “violently struck” Caballero, authorities said.

Traffic surveillance footage of the incident shows Caballero flying onto the hood of the car as Reddy speeds off.

Caballero, who is still recovering from his injuries, suffered lacerations to his head and a broken arm as a result of the incident.

Following the hit-and-run, the FHP Bureau of Criminal Investigations immediately responded and began collaborating with Florida’s Turnpike Authority, SunPass, the New York Division of the FBI TaskForce, as well as the NYPD, to identify the driver.

Police say Reddy is awaiting extradition to Florida.

Reddy has lived in Parkland, Florida, and has a pending misdemeanor charge for marijuana possession stemming from a Feb. 17 arrest, the Sun-Sentinel reported, citing Broward court records.
