A playful pup named Crowley decided to literally leave his mark after destroying his owners’ driveway by running onto freshly-poured concrete.

Crowley’s owners from Snohomish, Washington, say they were having their driveway redone when their a seven-and-a-half month old dog decided he wanted to play outside.

The adorable incident began when one of the crew members approached the owner’s house with a question.

A dog named Crowley (pictured) escaped past his owner and onto a driveway covered in wet concrete after a crew member came to the door to ask a question

‘My husband, Rob, answered and he and the guy are chatting about the work. Crowley (named after Crowley from Supernatural) wanted out to say ‘hi’ to the crew guy and then decided he wanted to just be outside.’

That’s when the owners say Crowley shoved his way past the two men and took off into the concrete.

Video footage from Jukin Media shows Crowley sliding around the Rob’s legs, briefly stopping for a head rub from the crew member and darting down the stairs leading to the driveway.

One of the owners, Rob, desperately calls for the puppy as Crowley dashes across the concrete

Crowley weighs more than 100 pounds and say stopping the rambunctious puppy can be difficult

A surprised Rob desperately calls for Crowley as the happy dog eagerly wags his tail.

The couple say Crowley weighs more than 100 pounds, so stopping him when he’s on a roll is no easy feat.

After Crowley lands in the concrete, he sends the two men a final look before running down the path.

Owner: ‘His feet went into about 6 [inches] of freshly poured concrete. So no paw prints were left because he didn’t make any prints, as much as he left big holes…’

Several small, paw sized holes are left in his over-excited wake.

‘His feet went into about 6 [inches] of freshly poured concrete. So no paw prints were left because he didn’t make any prints, as much as he left big holes that started filling in right away,’ they said.

Crowley’ owners admit that he is, ‘still learning to “come” when he’s called–especially with so many distractions!’
