DAVID Cameron’s dad-in-law was mugged at his stately home.
Sir Reginald Sheffield, father of the ex-PM’s wife Sam, had his phone snatched as he sat in his car, a court heard.
He was parked at his mansion when a VW Golf pulled up nose to nose.
One of two men in the car then got out, leaned through Sir Reginald’s open car window and said: “I'll have your phone, ta.”
JPs heard that the Old Etonian, 74, put up a fight as the thug grabbed his arm.
But his iPhone 8 was wrenched from his grasp.
The muggers then sped away from 300-acre Normanby Hall near Flixborough, North Lincs.
Antony Wilks, 25, of Ealand, Lincs, was arrested last week in Scunthorpe and charged with robbery over the April 14 incident.
He appeared in court in Grimsby on Saturday.
Wilks did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody to appear at a crown court at a later date.
Dad-of-five Sir Reginald is the eighth baronet of Normanby.
He was educated at Eton College, also attended by Mr Cameron, 53.
Samantha, 49, known as SamCam, is the eldest daughter of his first marriage in 1969 to Viscountess Astor.
His estate includes a farming museum, park, stable yard cafe, woodland and walled garden.
