- Sophie Taylor, 25, caught bin man kicking snowman in Hereford on Tuesday
- CCTV footage captured the man casually delivering the right-footed blow
- Ms Taylor said her three-year-old son Joseph built the snowman on Saturday
A binman has been sacked after he was caught roundhouse kicking the head off a three-year-old boy’s snowman.
Sophie Taylor, 25, caught the refuse worker – who has not been named – kicking the top of the 6ft-tall creation in Hereford.
CCTV footage captured the man casually delivering the right-footed blow while waiting for a bin to be emptied into the back of a refuse truck – before returning the bin to its spot on the pavement.
Ms Taylor said her three-year-old son Joseph helped build the snowman on Saturday after an Arctic ice blast covered vast swathes of the country in the white stuff.

Joseph waves at the binmen while they collect his rubbish every week, Ms Taylor told the Hereford Times.
This made it especially heartbreaking when the refuse worker ‘goes and does that in front of his face’, she added.
The youngster’s proud creation lasted all the way through to Tuesday when the binman – an agency worker recruited to work for a council contractor – kicked its head off.
Herefordshire Council said it was ‘disappointed’ by his conduct and he will not be brought back to work for them again.

A Herefordshire Council spokesman said: ‘We are aware of this incident and are disappointed that an individual representing the council would behave in such a manner.
‘The employee was a member of agency staff working on behalf of one of the council’s contractors, and he has been informed that he will not be used again.
‘Information has also been circulated to all agency employees outlining the professional standards they are expected to uphold when representing a Herefordshire Council contractor.’
