A BILLIONAIRE playboy once linked to a £60m art heist is feared to have been fatally poisoned during a trip to a sex club.

Detectives say wealthy Constantin Dinescu died shortly after hooking up with two of his regular vice girl lovers. 

The mega-rich Romanian, 69, was dubbed the “baron of luxury” for his collection of sports cars which included a one-off Lamborghini.

He was also a well-known art lover which once led to him being linked to the high-profile raid on the Kunsthal art museum in Rotterdam, Holland.

The crime was carried out by a gang of Romanian thieves and some cops believe the paintings were stolen in a bid to sell them on to Dinescu.

Works by some of the world's famous atrtist were taken in the 2017 raid, reports the Daily Beast.

They included Pablo Picasso's 'Tete d'Arlquin', Henri Matisse's 'La Liseuse en Blanc et Jaune' and Claude Monet's 'Charing Cross Bridge'.

Dinescu's home is reported to have had secret rooms for illicit art and galleries for works he bought legitimately. 

However, he never faced any charges over the Dutch raid.

Early reports stated he had fallen sick at his palatial home on Romania’s Lake Snagov on August 9.

However, investigators apparently later learned he had actually collapsed in his car near the sex club.

He died days later in a hospital in the capital Bucharest.

Cops are now working on the theory he was poisoned by a Ukrainian call girl said to be a "favourite".

"It is rumored that he is with a woman from Ukraine and she….put something in his glass," stated one report.

The whereabouts of the female suspect is currently unknown.

Dinescu is reported to have often hired two or more prostitutes at a time and frequented a number of sex clubs.

The magnate became a suspect in the heist when cops set a trap for him with the help of the four men involved in the theft.

Reports say the police in Romania are treating his death as “suspicious” and are checking to see if any paintings in his collection have gone missing.
