JOSH Herdman is a contestant on the ITV competition series The Games.
The star shot to fame when he was just 13 playing Gregory Goyle in the Harry Potter film series. Here is everything you need to know about the actor turned martial artist.
Who is Josh Herdman?
Joshua Colin M. Herdman is a 35-year-old English actor and mixed martial artist.
He was born in Hampton, London, on March 26, 1987.
Herdman is the son of actor and former professional rugby league footballer Martin Herdman and Jessica Herdman.
He was educated at Orleans Park School.

The London-based actor is best known for playing Gregory Goyle in Harry Potter.
Back in 2018, Herdman opened up about going off the rails in his teenage years following his success and nearly ruined his career.
At the time, he said: "If I’m honest I was a party animal, I was like many young people are.
"I don’t know, it was the people I was hanging around with and you have money.

"It was just what I was doing and I had enough of it so I gave it up and started to focus on my fitness, I quit smoking and I haven’t looked back."
Despite loving acting, Herdman decided to take up martial arts and cage fighting, in an initial bid to help with mental health struggles.
The star has since managed to transform his body and is almost unrecognisable from his Harry Potter days.
In April 2016, he made his amateur fighting debut as an MMA opponent, defeating Polish fighter Janusz Walachowski at the City Pavilion in Romford, East London.
What films and TV shows has he been in?
When Herdman was 13 he was cast as Gregory Goyle in Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone (2001).
Over the next decade, he returned as Goyle in all seven sequels.
He was originally considered for a role as Harry's spoilt cousin Dudley Dursely, but ended up playing the Slytherin bad boy who was killed by his own fire spell in the final movie of the franchise.
In 2018, he appeared as Righteous in the film Robin Hood, alongside Jamie Dornan.
He has also been in Wizards vs Aliens, UGetMe, The Bill, Common People, Marcella, White House Farm and Alex Rider.
In 2022, Herdman is set to appear in movie Giantland playing Jason.
Is Josh married and does he have children?
By the looks of it, the star likes to keep his personal life private and out of the public eye.
However, on April 10, 2022, he posted a photo on Instagram of himself and his partner Jessica with the caption: "Quite possibly the funniest human I am lucky enough to know. Beautiful inside and out. Love you forever baby."
It is not publically known if the pair are married or not.
Herdman's Instagram also suggests that he has sons as he frequently posts them with a caption saying: "My boys".
And after the first episode of The Games aired he posted a picture of two young boys with Tyson Fury with the caption: "My boys with the champ @tysonfury, @gre3n_eclips3 great first night @thegamestv except for that hammer technicality."
