STARZ announced the revival of the two-season 2009 show Party Down last year.
The show is returning after more than a decade-long hiatus with familiar faces and all-new characters.
Who is in the cast of Party Down?
The 30-minute long comedy show will return with six out of seven of its original cast members.
Those returning include:
- Adam Scott
- Jane Lynch
- Ken Marino
- Martin Starr
- Ryan Hansen
- Megan Mullally
In addition to them, STARZ said that Jennifer Garner, James Marsden, Tyrell Jackson Williams, and Zoe Chao will be joining the cast of Party Down's reboot.
The Mean Girls star, Lizzy Caplan will not be returning due to scheduling conflicts as she recently landed leading roles in Fatal Attraction, a series at Paramount Plus as well as a role in Fleishman Is in Trouble at FX on Hulu.
The show will return as a limited series with only six episodes on Starz.

What is Party Down about?
The show plays off the Hollywood wannabe trope as it follows a Los Angeles-based catering team as they work for low wages while hoping for the moment they become a star.
Each episode follows the catering team and how each inevitably becomes entangled in their guests' interesting lives.
The original series' producers and creators will return for the revival and include: Rob Thomas, John Enbom, Paul Rudd, and Dan Etheridge.
Enbom will serve as show-runner and cast member Scott will also produce on the show.
Jeffrey Hirsch, president and CEO at Starz said: "After more than 10 years, we’re excited to have the cast, many of whom are now hugely popular award-winning stars, return to don their pink bowties and head back to the party."
The cast members have made it as stars in their own right following Party Down's release in 2009.
Scott is widely known for his role as Amy Poehler's romantic partner, Ben Wyatt, on Parks and Recreation.
Jane Lynch became even more popular by starring in the hit show Glee as Sue Sylvester in the Fox musical comedy.
Hirsch went on to say, "The fan demand for a ‘Party Down’ revival is clear and we look forward to what Rob, Paul, John, Dan and now Adam will do as they bring this special project and these hilarious characters back to life.”
Production for Party Down is expected to begin in 2022.
