Cooking With Paris has returned. More than one year after the debut of Paris Hilton‘s cooking series on YouTube, the singer and DJ announced that she would soon take Cooking With Paris to Netflix. When will Hilton’s fans get to see her whip up some more “sliving” recipes?

Paris Hilton started ‘Cooking With Paris’ on YouTube

In January 2020, Hilton surprised many of her fans by launching the original cooking show on her YouTube channel. The debut episode saw the media personality make her “famous” lasagna, which she described as “sliving” — slaying and living. A few highlights from the episode included Hilton calling herself an “amazing cook,” carrying around her dog in a small apron, and wearing “chef gloves” to grate mozzarella cheese.

Cooking With Paris received mixed reviews. Some fans praised Hilton’s lasagna recipe, while others criticized her cooking methods. Still, the video performed well, with more than 5 million views to date.

Hilton said at the time that Cooking With Paris would become a weekly series. Unfortunately, she never released another episode.

However, the socialite did participate in a few other cooking ventures. In May 2020, she created the Princess Paris Sliving Burger during The Uber Eats and Off the Menu’s Burger Showdown alongside chef Hunter Pritchett. Later, in June, she did a Cooking Live with Chef Ming Tsai segment for his charity, Family Reach.

In addition to the YouTube series, Hilton teased that she planned to release a Cooking With Paris book. The book was supposed to release in 2020, but Hilton experienced a delay.

When will ‘Cooking With Paris’ launch on Netflix?

Hilton is finally living up to her promise of more Cooking with Paris episodes. On July 12, 2021, the reality star revealed that the series would continue on Netflix on Aug. 4, 2021. She shared a look at the show’s cover art: an image of Paris in a pink ball gown, holding a whisk with pink frosting in one hand and a dog in the other.

As Variety reported, the show will follow Hilton on a journey to learn more about cooking alongside celebrity guests. The series will have six episodes at 30 minutes each. Hilton will be an executive producer, as well as Aaron Saidman, Eli Holzman, and Rebecca Hertz.

“She’s not a trained chef, and she’s not trying to be. With the help of her celebrity friends, she navigates new ingredients, new recipes, and exotic kitchen appliances,” Netflix said in a press release. “Inspired by her viral YouTube video, Paris will take us from the grocery store to the finished table spread — and she might actually learn her way around the kitchen.”

At the moment, the recipe list is not quite clear. However, Hilton told People in 2020 that she did film more episodes of the YouTube series, so perhaps that footage will be used for the Netflix show.

“The last one I just did was with my sister [Nicky Hilton Rothschild] — we cooked different party hors d’oeuvres like Jell-O shots and nachos,” Hilton told the publication.

Paris Hilton has a few other projects in the works

According to Variety, Hilton has been very busy with television projects. On top of Cooking With Paris, the entrepreneur has a “wedding reality show” called Paris in Love in the works for Peacock. The series will reportedly document her preparations for her wedding to Carter Reum. She will executive produce the show under her brand new production company, Slivington Manor Entertainment.
