His birthday is set to be commemorated in a one-off show, here's what we know.
When is The Lenny Henry Birthday Show on?
Tonight's show is to celebrate Lenny's 60th birthday, which is actually on August 29.
You can catch this evening's show at 8pm on BBC One.
If you miss it, you can watch it on the BBC iPlayer.
It goes up against Paul O'Grady's Little Heroes on ITV.
Who is guest starring on The Lenny Henry Birthday Show?
It's not known if there will be any guest stars on tonight's show.
But we do know it is hosted by Sir Trevor McDonald, in front of a studio audience.
The programme takes a lighthearted look back at a career that started 43 years ago.
Lenny will bring back to life some of his fan's favourite characters, as well as introducing some new ones.

Speaking to the BBC Lenny said: "It’s fantastic. It’s a real honour.
"You never imagine you’re going to be 60 when you’re a kid.
"I started when I was 15 years old, so to be 60 years old and having a commemorative show is a fantastic thing.
"It was a joy to do and I got to be interviewed by one of my heroes, Sir Trevor McDonald, and to do some silly sketches. It was lovely."
