THE remaining Islanders were treated to their final dates, but it all seemed too much for Molly-Mae as she broke down in tears in the midst of her date with Tommy.

And given that it had just been days since the last shock elimination, contestants had now been rocked with the news that another pair was set to leave the show. But what else occurred?

What happened in tonight’s episode?

Anton couldn’t wait for his final date with Belle to commence, and it wasn’t long into the episode when the gym owner had received a text, revealing: “Anton and Belle. It’s time for you to go on your final date. #chopchop #theskyisthelimit”

The Scottish was excited over the thought of potentially taking to the sky in a helicopter, stressing in the Beach Hut that he’s “never done anything like this before in my life.”

Shortly after, the two arrived at a helipad to board a helicopter which took them to the skies over beautiful Mallorca.

In the midst of their romantic date, Belle opened up about her experience in the villa, telling Anton that she'd truly found what she was hoping to find in the villa.

Despite a few arguments in the past, the doting couple appeared to be in a good place, with Anton going on to gush about the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast, explaining how his favourite character had always been Belle.

So, it seems rather ironic that the woman he has fallen for on Love Island carries the same exact name.

“When I was younger, my mum took me to see Beauty and the Beast and I fell in love with Belle. She bought me a little Belle figurine and I slept with it every night,” he explained.

“I’ve now found my real-life Belle. You’re beautiful on the outside and inside. It’s unbelievable to think that someone who looks as good as you, are as pure on the inside.”

Following the nice compliments, Belle joked that she couldn’t wait to meet Anton’s mum to discuss different bum-shaving techniques, which brought the pair to giggles and laughter.

Belle continued: “I feel like I did a good job but there was room for improvement. I’ve got so much to learn. I’m not trying to take her place but there will be days where she might be a bit busy, and I’ll step in for her.”

Back at the villa, the boys were given a secret task which saw every male Islander set with an undercover assignment involving the girls.

While Curtis was tasked to get two bombshells to change their outfits as part of the challenge, Tommy had to get a massage from every girl apart from his girlfriend.

Ovie seemed concerned about his own task – hiding Molly-Mae’s Ellie-Belly and accidentally spilling a glass of milk on another girl certainly wasn’t going to be an easy feat.

To complete their challenge, the boys had to collectively get all of the girls to jump in the pool.

Finally, it was Tommy and Molly’s turn to share their final date.

The boxer received a text, which read: “Molly-Mae and Tommy. It’s time to leave the villa for your final date. #belleoftheball #beautyandtheboxer”

And while Tommy had no clue where his date would take place, he later revealed in the Beach Hut that he was just happy to get some alone time with Molly – particularly since his fellow Islanders described the experience as “the date of their lives.”

Molly and Tommy’s romantic dinner was held in a stunning grand ballroom, and it went without saying that the gorgeous couple was certainly dressed for the occasion.

In the midst of reflecting on their time in the villa together, Molly broke down in tears as she thanked her boyfriend for making her time on the show feel so special.

Tommy felt touched by Molly’s words, adding: “From the moment I met you, I knew in my own heart that you were going to be the one for me. I knew it straight away. I genuinely love you. You’re the girl I’ve been looking for my entire life.”

But shortly after returning to the villa, the Islanders were informed that a shock elimination was expected to take place and it was up to the contestants to decide – in pairs – which couple was going to receive the boot.

The text revealed: “Islanders. Tonight, each couple must secretly vote for one other couple that they think should be dumped from the Island.”

While the Islanders deliberated on who they were going to send packing, it seemed rather obvious that nobody was willing to send another couple home given that the final is just days away – but a decision had to be made.
