Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) has collapsed yet again in Hollyoaks, leaving viewers unsure if he’ll pull through.

The legendary soap hard-man has been keeping shtum about how bad his pain is in the wake of the hit-and-run.

Scared of losing his gangster image, he’s suffered in silence, and has relied on medication to get him through the day.

But things took a shocking turn last week, when he lashed out at Sam Chen-Williams (Matthew McGivern) – the brother of Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson), who she has only just met!

Sam was left in a bad way, and recovered at home in Monday’s (February 21) offering of the Channel 4 soap, refusing to admit who it was that attacked him.

Maxine, horrified to learn that he’d been assaulted, paid him a visit, hoping to convince him to go to the police.

Sam, however, refused, but ultimately told her that it was Warren who carried out the assault. Maxine was appalled, and wasted little time in confronting her beau, telling him that they’re over.

Warren was in agony, and as he ignored another call from Maxine – who told him that Sam would not be reporting him – he collapsed to the floor in the garage.

Will Warren be okay?

Or will he die as a result of his injuries?

We’ll just have to wait and see.

Describing what’s ahead for Warren in the wake of the hit-and-run, actor Jamie Lomas told Metro.co.uk: ‘It’s Warren like you’ve never seen before.

‘He’s a bit vulnerable and I think the audience will like that. It’s nice to see a character like that – losing grip of who he really is, and that’s through no fault [of anyone] but the accident.’

Hollyoaks continues Tuesday February 22 at 7pm on E4.
