John Whaite and Tom Fletcher have wowed the judges week after week on Strictly Come Dancing but their popularity may take a dip this weekend as the couples compete in Movie Week. Digital marketing agency Mediaworks has been tracking how positively the Strictly contestants are being spoken about on social media and the data they’ve analysed could spell trouble for John and Tom.
Neither the McFly star nor the Great British Bake Off winner has found themselves in the dance-off before.
However, that could be set to change on Sunday after their respective performances with Johannes Radebe and Amy Dowden.
Mediaworks uses data compiled from social media to compare the celebrities and predict who will be eliminated each week.
From November 6 to November 18, John and Tom find themselves at the bottom of the sentiment graph.

John dropped to the bottom of the public perception chart with a negative score of minus two.
Although Tom sits just below zero on the chat, he is the only other celebrity to have a negative score this week.
BBC Breakfast star Dan Walker finishes the week just above Tom.
However, Dan has repeatedly been saved by the public despite finishing at the bottom of the judges’ leaderboard.
As the competition hots up, will John and Tom face each other in the dance-off?
On Saturday, John and Johannes will perform a Marry Poppins inspired Viennese Waltz.
Tom and Amy will dance a Couple’s Choice to Les Misérables’ On My Own while Dan and Nadiya Bychkova will perform a Charleston to Good Morning from Singin’ In The Rain.
At the other end of the scale, Rose sits at the top of the sentiment chart after an emotional performance last weekend.

Elsewhere, bookmakers Ladbrokes have tipped BBC Breakfast’s Dan to leave next.
Dan has been given a 5/4 chance that he’ll be eliminated on Sunday while Tilly Ramsay sits behind him at 6/4.
Tom has been priced at 4/1 to leave and there’s a 10/1 Rhys Stephenson will go.
Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “Dan’s had more lives than a cat avoiding the dance-off every week, but it looks like his time is finally coming to an end on Strictly.”
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One on Saturday at 6.40pm.
