Tim Lovejoy was left red-faced as he took a tumble on Sunday Brunch.

The presenter went crashing to the ground at the top of Sunday’s episode when introducing himself.

‘I’m Tim Lovejoy, yay!’ he said, as he hopped on one leg. Unfortunately his foot gave way beneath him and he fell.

His co-host Simon Rimmer looked on dismayed (but also holding back his laughter) and told him ‘I can’t even help you up’ as the presenters had to keep apart in the studio due to social distancing.

Tim struggled upright and bent forward with his hands on his knees, continuing to explain to viewers what they had coming up on the show.

Singer Izzy Bizu giggled away sat on the sofa on the other side of the studio, and Tim jokingly told her to ‘stop laughing’.

As he added that Maya Jama would also be joining them as a guest, Simon covered his face with his notes as he chuckled.
