This Morning's Alison Hammond revealed she is dating someone new on the popular ITV programme earlier today (May 30th).

Alison made a big reveal that she was dating someone "special" after her co-host Dermot O’Leary let it slip about he relationship status, leaving Alison rather flustered after the bombshell revelation.

Dermot said: "You're not available anymore are you, but if you were, you'd be a catch", and then gave her a cheeky nudge.

Alison replied: "What do you mean 'I'm not available."

Dermot appeared to realise he'd put his foot in it, as he then hesitated as he said: "Well, erm, you know."

Alison laughed: "I'm available".

Dermot exclaimed: "Oh she is available."

Alison then joked: "Are you trying to say I'm not available?"

"Well, I don't know, now I'm really confused, I thought you weren't available," explained Dermot.

Alison continued to tease Dermot, saying: "Is there someone in my life?" – and Dermot replied, "I think so".

Alison beamed: "Well I think you've just told the whole world", before erupting into a giggle.

A red-faced Dermot said: "I think I've just gone down a rabbit hole here".

Also then confirmed her relationship status, saying: "I love the way you out me" – there is someone in my life, yes".

She then said: "I'm going to tell everyone", gesturing toward the cameras and the viewers at home,.

"There is a special someone in my life".

Dermot then put his head in his hands as he discussed his blunder.

He said: "I didn't mean it to come out, I was just saying you were a catch."

But Alison didn't seem to be too annoyed at her co-star, as she told him: "Thank you Dermot for telling everybody, but there is someone I'm dating, so it is a bit closed."
