David Fincher, the director behind Fight Club and Seven, returns with his latest psychological thriller, The Killer.
Having teamed up with Netflix for Gary Oldman’s Mank, the filmmaker’s collaboration with the streaming service continues.
Based on the French graphic novel of the same name, Michael Fassbender stars as a hitman who develops a conscience.
The official synopsis reads: “After a fateful near-miss an assassin battles his employers, and himself, on an international manhunt he insists isn’t personal.”
The Killer will have its world premiere this Sunday September 3 at the Venice Film Festival, before it hits select UK cinemas in October and streams on Netflix from November 10, 2023.
