The Crown: Season 6 – Official teaser trailer
Netflix recently dropped a teaser for the sixth and final season of The Crown, along with an announcement that it will be released in two parts.
Season six of The Crown will take place during the late 1990s to the early 2000s. Part one, premiering on November 16, will see the return of Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, as well as Dominic West as Prince Charles.
Part one will focus on Diana’s relationship with Dodi Al-Fayed, as well as the tragic car crash in Paris that ended both of their lives.
Part two will focus on Princes William and Harry as they struggle with the aftermath of their mother’s death.
This will also include William and Kate’s early relationship and the time leading up to their historic wedding.

The wedding will of course feature Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton, who became an overnight sensation following her appearance as Maid of Honor at the Prince and Princess of Wales’ wedding in 2011.
Until now, it had been a mystery as to which lucky actress would portray cheeky Pippa.
With a simple Instagram post, Matilda Broadbridge announced she had landed the gig.

Matilda shared a photo of herself outside of her trailer on set with a simple sign that says Pippa, as well as a second photo backstage with the show’s title painted on a brick wall.
“A very short but very sweet trip to crown land [crown emoji] so excited to announce that I’ll be appearing as Pippa Middleton in @thecrownnetflix. So grateful to have been a tiny part of this production and for this experience, keep your eyes peeled [heart emoji] #thecrown #netflix #pippamiddleton,” Matilda captioned her post.
“Eeee my talented talented sistaaaa [sic],” Meg Bellamy, the actress starring as Princess Kate wrote in the comments.

Following Part 1, Part 2 will find William and Kate meeting and becoming friends at Scotland’s famed St. Andrews. Kate famously caught William’s attention when she wore a sheer dress for a charity fashion show.
The couple started dating in 2005, briefly broke up in 2007, and eventually married in 2011.
Will and Kate’s wedding is rumored to be the last scene that the cast shot.
The Crown season six part one premieres November 16 on Netflix. Part two will drop just under a month later on December 14.
