The Chase viewers were distracted by a "rather tasty" contestant during today's episode (January 26).

Wednesday's show welcomed 33-year-old Trudy, an insurance coach from Hertfordshire, to try and beat The Chaser Mark 'The Beast' Labbett.

Scoring an impressive £4,000 in her solo cashbuilder and opting for the middle offer, Trudy went on to secure the same amount for her team to put towards the day's prize fund.

However, The Chase viewers were more distracted by the "hot" contestant and took to Twitter to share their admiration for her appearance.

One viewer wrote: "Trudy is decent and rather tasty."

Another commented: "Trudy's hot for sure."

A third said: "I’m recording #thechase on itv +1 and keeping it forever because Trudy is [love heart emojis]."

Meanwhile, a fourth fan wrote: "Trudy reminds me of Claire Foy."

"Trudy is very shapely," another concluded.

Alongside all three of her team mates, Trudy went up against The Beast in the final chase.

The team secured an impressive score of 20 in their own final chase, with The Beast hot on their tail – though not for long.

In an impressive display, the team of four managed to best The Beast and win the final chase.

Following a number of errors made by the notoriously tough to beat quizzer, Trudy and her team executed three of their six attempts at a pushback.

The team's total pot was worth a sum of £21,000, meaning they would each take home a whopping £5,250.

Asked by The Chase host Bradley Walsh what she planned to spend her share of the prize fund on, Trudy replied: "I'm going to have a beautiful garden."

The Chase airs at 5pm on weekdays on ITV.
