Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Leach confessed she would be "lost" without her dance partner Vito Coppola.

The TV duo have been at the centre of romance rumours in recent weeks and have marked themselves as strong contenders to lift the glitterball trophy. During Friday's instalment (November 10) of It Takes Two, viewers were given an insight into what the Strictly stars think about their dance partners.

Each celeb couldn't speak higher of their partner, with Vito, 31, opening up on what a joy it's been to teach Ellie, 22, how to dance. The Italian dancer said: "What I love most about teaching Ellie is the fact that she's become stronger and stronger each week. Now she's improving her resilience.

The former Coronation Street actress couldn't speak higher of Vito in return as she gushed: "I don't even want to think about taking to the dance floor without Vito. I would be completely lost. It would be my worst nightmare."

During the Strictly spin-off show, host Fleur East welcomed a celebrity panel made up of The Chase's Jenny Ryan, Morning Live star Dr Punam and TV presenter Alice Beer. The trio discussed each pairing still in the competition and Alice was a firm believer that Ellie will make it to the final.

She declared: "I don't think it's about whether Ellie's in the final, it's about who's there with her. What I love about Ellie is that at the beginning, you saw her in rehearsals and she looked rubbish!"

Fleur was stunned by the remark, responding: "Alright, tell us how you really feel!" Alice was quick to rectify the comment as she insisted: "No no but there she is on the night, she's amazing! She's putting in the hours and I think it shows. Ellie in the final, definitely."
