Strictly Come Dancing’s Musicals Week took place on Friday night on BBC One, with just six contestants remaining in the competition. Presenter Molly Rainford and her partner Carlos Gu opened the quarter-final show with a Charleston to Hot Honey Rag from Chicago. Following their routine, Carlos broke down in tears over the judges’ scores and was comforted by Molly.
Carlos and Molly owned the dance floor on Friday night with their uptempo Charleston to the hit musical Chicago.
The judges gave the pair incredible feedback following their routine and they scored them an impressive 38 points out of a possible 40.
Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke handed out nines whereas Motsi Mabuse and head judge Shirley Ballas gave Molly and Carlos 10s.
The Chinese dancer broke down in tears over the scoring after he spoke to host Claudia Winkleman.
