When it comes to Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) in Coronation Street, we are on the edge of our seats, knowing one wrong move from a resident could result in them being his next victim.
A wrong move in Stephen’s eyes could be anything, but when it came to Leo (Joe Frost), it was getting a little too close to the truth regarding Stephen’s plans to steal Audrey’s (Sue Nicholls) cash.
Once Leo told Stephen that he would tell the Platt family everything, a struggle ensued which resulted in him ending up dead and in a bin.
During the initial aftermath, Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) concluded that Leo must’ve got cold feet with their relationship and left for Canada on his own.
Now, however, things have changed.
It’s thanks to the arrival of Teddy, Leo’s father, who believes it’s extremely unusual for his son to completely cut off all contact.
This prompts Jenny to meet up with Teddy at the start of the new week, so they can discuss whether to get the police involved over Leo going missing.
As Stephen grows paranoid, he takes a photo of Jenny and Teddy together and sends it to Teddy from Leo’s phone, with a message saying, ‘don’t contact me again’.
Believing he’s covered his tracks; Stephen is then stunned to learn of Teddy’s decision to fly over to Canada to speak with Leo face to face.
