Lucas’ biological father Alex was back in Emmerdale tonight causing more trouble for Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley).

Following their marriage, Billy (Jay Kontzle) told Dawn he’d like to adopt Lucas so they can be a proper family.

This created a bit of a problem, as Dawn needed Alex’s permission before the application forms got underway.

Making their way over to Alex’s, Dawn and Billy initially thought their proposal wouldn’t be accepted – but Alex said yes.

Later on, Dawn and Billy updated Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton), who was also very surprised Alex said yes without any catches.

But then Dawn met up with Alex again.

Alex informed Dawn that he’s got a load of gear (drugs) that need shifting and can’t do it himself as the police are already on his back.

To make matters worse, Alex told Dawn that if she gets rid of the gear, he’ll let Billy adopt Lucas.

Convinced there was no way out, Dawn agreed – but what danger will she land herself in?

Will Dawn face time behind bars if she’s caught?
