SCOTTY T has been trolled over an "insensitive" Twitter joke asking Ariana Grande if she "fancied a cuddle" after the Manchester suicide bombing – but he insists his account was HACKED.
The Geordie Shore star came under fire over last night's message, but he has now issued an apology and blamed the post on cyber criminals.
Scotty was among the stars who took to Twitter last night to comment on the horrific terror attack at the end of Ariana's gig at the Manchester Arena, which left 22 dead and 59 injured.
A post on his page stated: "Thoughts going out to all the victims and their familys [sic] in Manchester right now and you Ariana Grande #FancyACuddle."
He added a smiley face at the end of the message, and fans were left fuming.

Many branded him "insensitive" over the tweet, and Scotty was even targeted by trolls who bombarded him with sick abuse.
One wrote: "Scotty T needs putting down," and another added: "We regret to inform you that Scotty T uses tragedy to try and shag Ariana Grande."
But Scotty later deleted the tweet and returned to the page to explain that the message was posted by a hacker.
He apologised and insisted he would never tweet anything so "disgusting".
Scotty tweeted: "Hi apologies to anyone offended last night. My Twitter was hacked.
"Anyone who follows me knows I would not tweet anything so disgusting…
"Just gained access now after resetting account…
"There were 17 apps logged In to the account. All of these had to be removed."
At least 22 people were killed and 59 injured when a bomb went off at the venue shortly after Ariana left the stage.
Many of those killed are feared to be children there to watch the US pop star.
Thousands fled after hearing a “massive bang” with crowds of screaming and crying teens rushing from the venue.
Witnesses told how nuts and bolts were sent flying in the blast at the foyer area as fans made their way to Manchester Victoria train station next door.
Prime Minister Theresa May has slammed the "appalling terrorist attack", and stars including Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have expressed their sorrow over the atrocity.
