Ultimate Wedding Planner trailer
Sara Davis stars alongside First Dates’ Fred Siriex and celebrity wedding planner Raj Somaiya in the new BBC competiton The Ultimate Wedding Planner but admitted to clashing with her co-stars.
The new series sees eight aspiring wedding planners having to work together to pull off six weddings which all have a specific theme and target audience.
With each participant having their own special skills, they will need to budget their finances, make sure they are on brand and keep to the tight time constraints.
Throughout the series, Sara, Fred and Raj must eliminate one planner a week based on their weaknesses in order to find the UK’s Ultimate Wedding Planner.
Former Dragon’s Den star Sara Davis recently opened up about her time working on the show and admitted that she would often argue with the boys over who they should send home.

Speaking to Express.co.uk and other press, she said: “I picked the winner on that first day, I was like ‘Yep, they are going to win’.
“Oh yeah, but I was so wrong! I was so wrong and I was convinced this person was going to win, I was convinced and was so wrong.
“Even when we went into the final, the two that were there were not the two I expected to be in the final.
“I am talking about 10 o’clock on the night of the final, we’re still all arguing because we can’t agree on who should win.

“It was not clear at all! I can’t even tell you how close cut it is because they go from strength to strength.”
When discussing if they had to unanimously agree on who the winner was, Sara quipped: “Well it wasn’t on the morning, we had to keep arguing and arguing until we agreed.”
Touching on any other mishaps which happened during the days of the weddings, she revealed: “Fred kept saying the planners had to learn.
“So he’d point something out that could go wrong, but he wouldn’t labour the point too much and then, at the weddings, a couple of times I saw said thing unfolding.
“I’d have Fred on my shoulder going ‘I told you that wouldn’t work’. The show has a lot of drama.”
The Ultimate Wedding Planner begins comes to BBC Two and BBC iPlayer from Tuesday 8 August.
