Rochelle Humes was praised by BAFTA TV Awards viewers on Sunday 8 May for her sweet gesture to Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice as they won Virgin Media's Must-See Moment.
EastEnders star Rose, 27, who was the first deaf contestant to take part in Strictly, and pro partner Giovanni, 31, won the 2021 series of Strictly Come Dancing in December.
The duo left viewers sobbing on Strictly when they performed a stunning Couple's Choice dance to Clean Bandit's Symphony, where they included a "special" silent moment in their dance to celebrate the deaf community.
As their dance won Virgin Media's Must-See Moment on Sunday, Rochelle, 33, who was hosting the award with Clara Amfo, used sign language to announce their win while the audience then applauded in sign language.

Taking to Twitter, viewers were quick to praise Rochelle for using sign language as one person said: "Aww Rochelle signed the winners announcement. Love her for this #BAFTAS."
A different account put: "Well done Rochelle! #BAFTAs."
While another viewer added: "Rochelle and Clara!!! love them they are both incredible #baftas," with a heart emoji.
It comes as Rose got teary on stage while accepting their award, she said: "It is a very special moment for us because hopefully it showed how powerful TV can be, where it has actually introduced changes.
"It has even helped the BSL (British Sign Language) law be passed recently. It made people stand up more for sign language, and just a better deaf awareness and positiveness towards people. We have still got a long way to go but it is such a great start. We are so, so, so proud of it."
It comes after Rose and Giovanni revealed that they kept the "special" silent moment in their dance to celebrate the deaf community a "secret".
Rose and pro partner Giovanni appeared on It Takes Two in November where they discussed the powerful routine.

During the show, host Rylan revealed that the duo didn't tell anyone about the silent moment ahead of the episode, to which Giovanni said: "No, we didn't so it was a secret because it was such a special moment.
"I had this idea and first of all, I asked if she [Rose] was happy for me to do something like this. Obviously I can’t just go and do something like this, because it is very important, it’s me working in Rose’s world and she actually said: 'It’s a fantastic idea!'
"So I’m very proud and privileged, you gave me a chance to come into your world and me to be able to show the story, that it is a positive story, it really is."
