REAL Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice put family first as she fled Bravocon to attend to her sick father in a medical emergency.

Teresa, 47, had glammed up for the event, which spread across the weekend, and hosted a series of interviews throughout.

Yet after just a few hours at Sunday's show, held in New York, she was forced to make an early exit.

She arrived at the event in a glamorous black sequin dress with printed detailing.

Teresa had taken care to style her brunette hair into relaxed waves and flashed smiles for the cameras as she arrived.

Yet things quickly turned trickier when she was alerted to her father, Giacinto Gorga's, unwell condition.

Taking to her Instagram account later in the day, she told fans her dad "wasn't well."

She added images of an ambulance pulling up the driveway as she gave the shock health update.

It could be seen peeking through the trees and behind a fountain as she waited its arrival.

Meanwhile Teresa has candidly spoken put about more of her family's recent strife, including her 14 year old daughter Milania's recent weight loss.

The reality star revealed her teen had turned to her for help and with a mixture of good eating and exercise she has shed almost three stone.

Speaking to HollywoodLife at BravoCon, she said:  “She told me, she’s like, “Mommy, can you get me a nutritionist?”

“I said to her, ‘You want me to get you a nutritionist?’ And then at first she said no, but then when she was ready, she told me. And then I got her.”

Describing how she did it, Teresa continued:  “Just eating right. I was getting her meals. I had a nutritionist come to the house and they did her macros and what she should be eating and we teamed up with this meal prep company, Brielle. That was amazing.

“And I’m making her meals and exercising. She’ll go to the gym with me and she did it.”
