Season 28’s Mirror Ball presentation ties for finale low in key demo, but will likely adjust down to a new record low

“Dancing With the Stars” Season 28 took a final bow on Monday, when the ABC dancing competition settled for a new low in total viewers when ranked among the shows previous finales, putting up 7.7 million overall sets of eyeballs from 8-10 p.m.
Additionally, the episode tied for a new low for a finale in the key adults 18-49 demo with a 1.1 rating, but will likely adjust down in final numbers to a new record low, thanks to NFL preemptions.

ABC, NBC and Fox all tied for first in ratings, each with a 1.0 rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic. ABC was first in total viewers with an average of 7.2 million, according to preliminary numbers. NBC was second in total viewers with 6.4 million viewers. Fox was fourth with 4.6 million total viewers.
CBS was fourth in ratings with a 0.6 and third in viewers with 5.6 million.
