Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan was left speechless during Monday's show after making fun of Dr Hilary's name before the medical expert hit back at him.
Piers and his co-host Susanna Reid had been talking about fat-shaming and weight during lockdown, with Susanna calling Piers "chubster" and a "fat person".
Whilst she felt bad for saying it, Piers told her that her being rude would spur him on to lose some weight.
The pair then moved on to talking about being discriminated for not being happy, with Dr Hilary chipping in: "Your name counts for a lot.
"Hilary means the smiling one, so you have to live up to it," sparking a surprised reaction from Piers.
He replied: "It is a girl's name though isn't it?"
Dr Hilary hit back: "Edmund Hilary climbing Everest?" and Piers replied: "But that's a surname."
The doctor said: "It's like Kimberley or Lesley, you can still smile."
Piers responded: "You can, but it is still a girl's name."
And then Dr Hilary landed a zinger as he hit back: "At least I'm not overweight."
Piers and Susanna then shared their shock at the brutal comeback, as Piers said: "I can't believe I've been fat shamed by a doctor."
