PIERS Morgan embarrassed Lorraine Kelly with a naked photo and asked her about her feud with Ester McVey during her 35th anniversary show.

Piers told viewers "don't panic" as he took the reins on ITV's Lorraine today and celebrated the presenter's glittering showbiz career with a This Is Your Life-style segment.

A montage of the 59-year-old's best moments flashed up on screen with a bevy of pals paying tribute, including Gary Barlow, John Hannah, Martin Clunes and Michelle Heaton.

But Piers, 54, had a few tricks up his sleeve, and found a naked photo of Lorraine on a sunbed from her early days as a newspaper columnist.

He teased: "What do you remember about your woman's weekly pages that you used to knock out? Do you remember saying this? 'It's now the latest craze sweeping Scotland. You can try out a special sunbed that toasts you a beautiful golden brown on both sides."

Lorraine then squealed: "No, please no!"

Late, Piers couldn't resist asking her about her run-in with her former colleague Esther McVey.

Lorraine responded with a curt reply after the two women crossed paths on Good Morning Britain back in June when Piers asked if she remembered the Tory MP.

And the host visibly cringed when Piers probed her again and said: "So you got on with Esther then?"

But he added: "Not much makes you do that. The secret to your longevity is you are a great laugh on and off camera.

"You always see the good in people.

"So for you to go that way about someone, it really does make me worry about Esther McVey!"

11 Lorraine's 35 years on TV has included interviews with prime ministers, rock stars, pop stars, and even astronauts.

The presenter and Sun columnist has received an OBE, had a penguin named after her, and won countless TV awards.

She admitted after seeing her medley: "It's too mad" as her TV crew wore tee-shirts with her face on them from across the years.

And she joked commented: "Most of them weren't even alive when those pictures were taken!"

Lorraine revealed the next big step in her career is training to become an astronaut in San Francisco.

Lorraine got her first gig in front of the camera in her early 20s.

She first appeared as an anchor for Scottish news back in 1984.

She married cameraman Steve Smith in 1992.

The couple has one daughter, called Rosie, who was born two years later and Rosie is currently living in Singapore.

Lorraine is the proud owner of a Border terrier puppy, much to the delight of daytime TV fans.

She tweeted about the pup for the first time on New Year's Eve 2017, writing: "I have a roaring fire, cava, a new puppy, choclit and #Galaxyquest on my TV. Bliss joy and happiness."

The adorable pooch is called Angus, and made his small screen debut on January 4.
