Super Soap Week is approaching and for Coronation Street, it’s all about Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce).
The businessman is fully aware the walls are closing in on him after Leo’s body was discovered, so he is determined to do whatever he can to ensure he isn’t caught for his crimes.
As a new day dawns in Weatherfield, Stephen is planning his escape from the cobbles but remains unaware his neighbours are putting together the pieces of a rather horrifying jigsaw puzzle.

One person within this mix is Carla Connor (Alison King). Next week, she is feeling frustrated as she is convinced that Stephen dosed her up on LSD but doesn’t actually have any evidence to show the police.
When she finds a print out of one way tickets to Thailand in the office printer, she convinces DS Swain (Vicky Myers) that Stephen is a flight risk.
Ignoring Swain’s insistence that she tells no one, Carla explains to Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) that the police are investigating Stephen and implores her not to go to Thailand, as she could be running off with a murderer.
At the factory, Stephen manages to trick Michael (Ryan Russell) into enabling him to transfer the full balance of Underworld’s account into a bogus one that he has set up.
As the week continues, events will occur that lead to Peter (Chris Gascoyne) attacking Stephen while in his flat.
Audrey (Sue Nicholls) then arrives and sends Peter packing, but how will these upcoming scenes impact Chris Gascoyne’s exit from the show?
Stephen will leave eventually and so will Peter – but will their exits happen at the same time?
