OUR Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen took a cheeky swipe at her son Reuben in a hilarious post.

The Shepherdess, 48, poked fun at her 19-year-old son after he shared a photo of his very neat tractor shed.

Reuben asked his fans if they knew of any vintage machinery, including tractors and diggers for sale.

The young lad then posted a photo of his neatly organised shed, which prompted his Amanda to call her son out for his very untidy bedroom.

The mum-of-nine wrote: "Tell me Reuben… how is this shed tidier than your room?”

She added various socks and underpants emojis to highlight her point.

Fans offer support to Amanda Owen after post about ‘plodding along’

Amanda Owen flooded with support on first Valentine’s Day since split

The Shepherdess won a legion of fans during her time on Our Yorkshire Farm on Channel 5.

While the show has now come to an end following Amanda's split from husband Clive, the former couple have both gone on to new TV projects.

Amanda Owen's Extraordinary Farming Lives sees her travel across the UK to lift the lid on what life on the farm is like for other families.

But according to recently released audience figures, the Shepherdess' Channel 4 show failed to attract half as many viewers as Clive and son Reuben's Yorkshire Farm spin-off.

REECE IN PIECES

Real reason The Apprentice star Reece Donnelly quit the show revealed

It was reported that Beyond The Yorkshire Farm, starring the father-son duo, drew 1.7 million viewers last December.

Agricultural sources within the Dales say: "This is not what was expected. Amanda is a TV star and Clive is a farmer who somehow found himself on TV."

They added: "I don't think anyone expected his and Reuben's show to do better of the two, least of all Amanda."

But despite Amanda's new series suffering a ratings blow -viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts with Amanda.

And it's safe to say they were loving the new show, as one wrote: "I’ve just watched the first episode of your new series.

"I really enjoyed it as it shone a light on a beautiful area of the UK, and on how a mother and two young daughters turned a tragedy into a story of survival."

Another added: "Loved your programme last night!"

A third tweeted: "It was brilliant to see you back on our screen Amanda can’t wait to see more, the family you visited were intriguing. You looked so well."
