NCIS has been running on CBS for 17 years and during this time, there have been many top agents to work with Agent Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon). One of them is Agent Nicholas “Nick” Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) who joined the cast back in 2016. But is actor Valderrama leaving the show in a dramatic turn of events?
This week’s episode (Tuesday, January 21) saw the team crack the case when a body is found at an unmanned aerial vehicle testing site.
Before they are initially able to figure out whether it was murder or simply an accident, a weapon is launched on the small building on the site, destroying all possible evidence.
In the upcoming episode however, there will be more of a focus on Agent Torres.

Is Nick Torres leaving NCIS?
In the promo for episode 14 On Fire, fans initially see Agent Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) and Torres jogging together, side by side.
This is until they become victims of a hit-and-run as a speeding car knocks down Torres, injures Bishop and quickly flees the scene.
When Gibbs asks Bishop how Torres is, she tearily says: “It’s bad.”
The synopsis for the episode reads: “After Torres and Bishop are victims of a hit-and-run, Torres fights for his life in the ICU.”
Prior to this episode which will be shown next week on CBS, there has been no indication of Valderrama leaving the series.
He has been one of the leading agents on NCIS over the past few years and fans continue to be interested in whether him and Bishop will eventually get together.
But this wouldn’t be the first time NCIS has killed off some of finest agents.

In spin-off show NCIS: New Orleans, Agent Christopher Lasalle (Lucas Black) was also unexpectedly killed after being in the show since its beginning in 2014.
