BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty has garnered both fashion praise and criticism for her latest look.
On today’s programme which Naga, 47, presents on Thursdays and Fridays with Charlie Stayt, she wore a long pleated monochrome skirt with two types of print, one tartan and one checked.
She paired it with a long-sheer-shelved black top with a high neckline.
But one BBC Breakfast viewer didn’t approve and said: “Cold dear? Granny blanket on your knee?”
While others praised her fashion choice writing: “Great outfit but always is with longer skirts and no thick tights. Stunning.”
The journalist’s onscreen fashion choices are regularly admired by fans of BBC Breakfast, on yesterday’s show she garnered praise for her ‘perfect’ mini dress.

She wore a red and black checked shift dress with a black collared shirt and black tights showcasing a modest amount of leg on screen.
Viewers piled on the praise saying she’d even won them over from rival channel, ITV.
One said: “You’ve made me turn over from ITV this morning. Love the outfit…You have great legs and look amazing in a short dress.”
Another tweeted: "Gorgeous dress today where is It from?”
Naga was also happy to admired her colleague, Carol Kirkwood’s choice of dress on yesterday’s show.
As Carol appeared for one of her weather forecasts in a green wrap style dress. Naga complimented her before jokingly adding: "Carol, you match the map.I'm looking forward to the day when you wear yellow and match the map.”
Carol replied: "Me too, me too, Naga. Bring on the summer.”
