The host of BBC's popular weekend cooking programme Saturday Kitchen, Matt Tebbutt, has hyped up Naga Munchetty while revealing one trait of hers that he loves.

Matt has spoken out of how he loves the BBC Breakfast news anchor's ways and how she "doesn't take any c**p".

Viewers at home will already know that Matt and Naga both share banter with one another when BBC Breakfast hands over to Saturday Kitchen.

with jokes and jibes aplenty, the pair often share a couple of quick quips during their handovers.

Speaking exclusively to The Express about his chemistry with Naga, Matt said: "She is really really good fun."

Although Naga and Matt are BBC co-stars, both work for the same company and often chat via video link, the pair have only met in real life once before.

"I met her once in actual life," he explained, "when I made BBC Breakfast many years ago, but it's just that toing and froing, that news link," he revealed to the paper.

Opening up further about their working relationship he revealed that it's her "particular" kind of banter that he really enjoys, adding: "I love her sort of sharp tone".

He then told the paper: "I love that she doesn't take any c**p, basically."

This comes after Naga shared some sweet banter with one of her BBC Breakfast co-stars this morning (March 31).

She branded Owain Wyn Evans as a "delicate little flower" before he went on to present the meteorological report.

Naga is known for her no-nonsense interviews on BBC Breakfast as well as her playful banter with co-stars, colleagues and guests on the programme.

BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
