Lucifer fans are in for more spoilers after the cast took to the stage to tease what fans can expect to see in the final season.
Day one saw Amenadiel star D.B. Woodside, Maze star Lesley-Ann Brandt and Ella Lopez star Aimee Garcia address the fandom’s burning questions about the next chapter of the Netflix hit.
Fans have long suspected more Archangels shown in the Comic book series will make an appearance in season five, and D.B. Woodside may have revealed who will be the next new arrival.
When asked what angelic being he would like to see next the Amenadiel star said: “I think a lot of the family has a problem with Michael.”
Could Lucifer’s twin brother Michael be set to cause trouble in season five?
The comic books revealed that it was Michael who kicked Lucifer out of heaven so there would more than likely be friction between the brothers should Michael arrive.
The original text introduces Michael as Lucifer Morningstar’s twin who never quite saw eye-to-eye with the devil.
Indeed the two personalities have considerable differences as Michael is written as a patient and kind character who seeks to do what is just.
Whereas fans of the series will remember Lucifer was as a selfish character who until meeting Chloe Decker (Lauren German) did only what was best for him, with no regard for human life.
After kicking him out of heaven, Michael’s arrival is unlikely to bring good news.
Is there trouble ahead for Lucifer?
Should Michael arrive on screen, this would confirm a previous fan theory that speculated Michael would arrive with another major character.
Reddit user HankMoodyMf said: “I do think we will eventually see Michael, I think they are saving him and Azrael.
“I am really interested in seeing the show’s version of Michael, because instead of Michael being god’s number one angel, here it’s Amendiel.”
Could the final season also see the return of Lucifer’s sister Azrael? (Charlyne Yi)
Fans will remember the season three bonus episode “Boo Normal” that saw the Angel of Death appear after Ella was in a near-fatal car accident.
With Chloe star Lauren German being a no-show at the latest convention, fans are beginning to suspect Chloe has been killed off.
Chloe and Lucifer yet to reunite after the Devil returned to hell last season after fighting off demons who tried to take over hell.
Fans have long speculating where the two will reunite, with some suspecting Chloe will meet Lucifer in Heaven or Hell.
Could something happen to Chloe that sees Lucifer’s siblings make an appearance?
Lucifer season four is available to watch on Netflix.
