While TLC fans are anxiously awaiting a new season of Little People, Big World, we can’t help but remember all of the drama surrounding Matt and Amy Roloff from the most recent. Matt and Amy divorced years ago and have since moved on with serious relationships. And Amy had a big decision to make last season since she and Matt were still living on Roloff Farms property.

We know Amy decided to sell her half of the farm to Matt, but it certainly wasn’t an easy decision. And it looks like she finally found a new home, too. Given what we know about the sale of her half of the farm and the price of her new house, it looks like Amy actually profited off of the move as well. Here’s what we know.

Amy Roloff sold her half of Roloff Farms to Matt Roloff

It took an entire season of LPBW before Amy came to her decision of whether she would stay on Roloff Farms or leave. Matt and Amy have worked to make the farm function together for decades, and after their divorce, they both decided to reside on the property but in different homes. While Matt was willing to give up the farm if necessary, it wasn’t nearly as easy for Amy to come to a decision.

“One of the reasons I stayed in the big house [is] because that was in my best interest going through separation, divorce, and I think I needed time to say that I had a permanency, I had a place, I had something that I could hang on to, grasp, in order to figure out ‘I’m officially divorced,’” Amy said on the show.

Despite her trepidation, she sold her half of the farm to Matt for big bucks. According to Radar Online, she sold it for $667,000.

Amy’s been looking for a new home, and she’s chronicled her journey on Instagram. While she saw a few houses she really liked, she seemed to strike out every time — but now, it appears she’s finally found her forever home. According to Radar Online, Amy bought a home in Hillsboro, Oregon, on Sept. 27, 2019, that was sold to her by her real estate broker fiancé, Chris Marek.

While the farm property was certainly bigger (36 acres compared to the new home’s 0.16 acres), Amy is going to reside just 15 minutes away from Roloff Farms, which will give her ample opportunities to take part in big family events and see her kids and grandkids who are in the area. Radar notes her new house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, and the kitchen looks spacious and perfect for Amy to continue her baking company, Amy’s Little Kitchen.

All in all, she reportedly bought the home for $588,500, leaving her with some extra money from her Roloff Farms sale.

What will she do with her excess cash?

So, now that Amy likely has some cash left over, what will she do with it? Radar Online reports the home isn’t exactly little person-friendly yet, so we’re betting she’ll be making some adjustments to the home to make it accessible to a person of her statute. The home aside, there’s also Amy’s wedding to consider. Marek proposed to her in late September, and while Amy’s stated in the past that she never thought she’d marry a second time, she’s super excited to be tying the knot once again.

It doesn’t look like her wedding to Marek will be happening any time soon, though. When an Instagram follower asked her if she’s set a date yet, Amy replied, “not yet, but planning g for 2021 [sic].” She still might be putting plenty of money away for the big event so that it’s as perfect as she always dreamed it’d be.

Will Amy and Marek’s wedding be on Roloff Farms like the rest of the Roloffs, or will they be creating new traditions elsewhere? We’ll have to wait and see. Either way, congratulations are in order for Amy to finding a new house!
