Love Island bosses have confirmed they're looking after Lucie Donlan after she was seen breaking down onscreen and insisted the show just "holds up a mirror to real life".
The surfer babe has been left distraught after her partner Joe Garratt was dumped from the villa last night amid rising tensions with the other girls.
She's fallen out with Amy Hart, and despite several attempts to make up, Lucie seems to have become even more isolated.
In tonight's episode, she is seen sobbing on camera and worried viewers have flocked to Ofcom to complain about her treatment by the other contestants.
Love Island bosses have now released a new statement insisting all the stars of the show are being given the right support.
It reads: "We take the emotional well-being of all the Islanders extremely seriously.
"We have dedicated welfare producers and psychological support on hand at all times who monitor and regularly speak to all of the Islanders in private and off camera, especially if someone appears to be upset.
"All the Islanders are therefore fully supported by the professionals on site and by their friends in the villa.
"This means Islanders are always able to reach out and talk to someone if they feel the need.
"We will of course continue to monitor all of our Islanders in line with our robust protocols.
"Love Island holds a mirror up to relationships and all the different dynamics that go with them."
There have been 684 complaints to Ofcom about "the treatment of Lucie by the others contestants" while there were a further 686 about Maura's unwelcomed advances to Tommy last week.
In Friday's episode, the Irish stunner climbed on top of the boxer and attempted to force him to snog as he said no and kept turning his face away.
An Ofcom spokesperson told Mirror Online: “We will assess these complaints against our broadcasting rules, but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate.”
Lucie has been under fire over the last few days as Amy and the other girls accused her of spending too much time with the boys.
She confessed she prefers spending time with male companions as girls bring "too much drama" – and it seemed to isolate her even further from the group.
It was made worse when her partner Joe also said she was spending too much time with love rival Tommy.
Joe was bombarded which sickening messages online and even accused of being "abusive" for telling her not to hang out with the hunky boxer so much.
His departure has now left Lucie distraught and she appears to be on the verge of quitting the show.
Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2
