LOOSE Woman legend Kaye Adams has celebrated turning 60 years old by getting her first tattoo.

The TV host filmed her visit to the tattoo parlour in her hometown of Glasgow and revealed it was a touching tribute to her late mum.

Kaye captioned her video: "I only went and did it!

"I teased I was going on the How To Be 60 podcast and I know most of you thought I wouldn't do it (to be fair so did I last night!) but I'm so glad I did.

"My mum will be up there rolling her eyes but I think deep down she'd be a little bit proud too!

"I'll be talking more about the whole experience in an upcoming podcast but for now I just wanted to say a massive thank you @waywardwomantattoos at @blackdottattoo for being so kind and gentle with me.

Kaye, who turned 60 in December, said: “I’m definitely getting a tattoo, it’s going to be 'Over 21’. I’ve done a bit of research of tattoo artists in Glasgow.”

Speaking on her How to be 60 podcast, she added: “I’m just trying to work out where I put it, whether I put it on the inside of my wrist, or maybe down the side of my arm; I don’t know where to have it, or which font.”

Kaye started How to be 60 last year to confront her fears on reaching her milestone birthday after years of lying about her age, even telling her own daughter that she was ten years
younger.

She believes she inherited her age-phobia from her mum, who would never admit her date of birth and when questioned about her age would only ever give the answer: “Over 21.”

Kaye unveiled the video after Loose Women co-star Carol McGriffin slammed her for getting the inking saying she was having a midlife crisis.
