LITTLE Mix’s Perrie Edwards broke down in tears during the band’s penultimate performance after admitting she’d been told not to perform by doctors.

The singer, who has a throat infection, soldiered on and gave a stellar performance alongside her bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall at London’s O2 Arena.

The trio will give their final performance before taking a hiatus from the band tonight at the iconic venue.

During last night’s gig, mum-of-one Perrie, 28, said she had been suffering with illness but wanted to push on.

In a break between songs she told the packed out crowd: “I have a bit of a throat infection, and my doctor was like, ‘You shouldn’t be singing, you shouldn’t perform.’

“I said: ‘Tough!’ I said there is no way I missing out on London’s O2.

“The sisterhood and the bond that we have will last forever.”

The band, who were formed on The X Factor with their ex-bandmate Jesy Nelson, announced they were going on a break last year.
