LAMAR Odom squirmed as he realised he would need to get down to his underwear to recreate THAT dance scene from Risky Business on Monday's Dancing With The Stars.

The 39-year-old ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian told his dance partner Peta, "ain't no way I'm wearing tightie whities" – referring to skimpy white underwear similar to Tom Cruise's in the 1983 classic.

The former NBA star compromised in striped boxer shorts as he danced the Cha Cha to Old Time Rock N Roll, showcasing his 6ft 10in frame.

He added a pale blue shirt and white socks.

"I was very distracted as all I could see was pants flying about!" exclaimed judge Bruno Tonioli. "I admire you for giving it a go," he added.

Carrie Ann Inaba praised the star for hitting the beats but only gave him four points, as did Len and Bruno – giving him a mere 12 points from the judges.

Fans were shocked that Lamar was scored below former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, who got all fives, a total of 15.

Spicer, 48, was criticised by head judge Len Goodman for being "so pigeon-toed" during his Cha Cha to Night Fever.

The political aide admitted to being a fan of disco, although it didn't help him as judge Bruno Tonioli called his Saturday Night Fever -inspired performance a "disaster."

He joked, "You're a genius. You turned Saturday Night fever into a disaster blockbuster."

Twitter fans wrote: " How in the hell did Sean gets 5s and poor Lamar got 4s?? You cannot tell me Sean was one step better than Lamar!!!"

Lamar was in the bottom two but saved from elimination because Ray Lewis had dropped out of the competition with an injury.

The former NFL star had torn three tendons during practice, which required surgery. He was told by the doctor that continuing to dance on it might cause a rupture and was unable to continue.
